As teachers express their concerns over classroom and teaching practices becoming too isolated in their subject matter and planning of course material becoming tedious and repetitive, I propose that implementing cross-curricular teaching would alleviate some of these concerns.

Unit & Lesson plans
Attached is a modular sequence plan. In this plan you will find the outcomes of the Foods Basics module and how they will cross over into Science 24. I have laid out the general and specific outcomes that relate directly to the Foods and Science program of studies. This plan is meant to be implemented throughout an entire semester and does not need to be address all at once or in any specific order. As you work through the science curriculum, you will gradually touch on Foods Basics outcomes simultaneously. All learning outcomes will be achieved however this is an untraditional approach to unit planning. In the sense that you pick and choose outcomes from a variety of units in order to combine those subject matters.
